Catterline's famous pub & seafood restaurant
Stunning views and superb menus
Local * Fresh fish caught in the bay * Small & independent * Ideal for walkers in the area
Situated in the historic fishing village of Catterline, perched on cliffs overlooking the bay and harbour, The Creel Inn pub and seafood restaurant is situated along some of North East Scotland's most beautiful coastline. Offering excellent quality traditional and modern food menus, and an incredible range of whiskies, beers, and wines, the inn is a friendly, relaxed getaway much-loved by our locals and visitors.
Renowned in Catterline and beyond, the specialities served in our seafood restaurant and lounge are prepared to the highest standards using the freshest local produce - our lobster and crab are caught in Catterline Bay. This is complemented by our friendly team and welcoming ambience, creating the unforgettable dining experience so many of our visitors savour time and time again.
Due to it's location, The Creel Inn is steeped in history and rich in scenery. Situated in a small fishing village, the inn is located in a row of fishermen's cottages perched on a cliff edge overlooking Catterline bay and harbour. While secluded and peaceful, the village is also near the main coastal road, and still only 25 minutes drive from Aberdeen centre.
Relaxed & friendly
With open fires and beamed ceilings, our pub and seafood restaurant offers you a relaxing and cosy atmosphere enjoyed by many in Catterline. Slightly more informal than the restaurant but offering the same menu, the cosy lounge has open fires and beamed ceilings. To these surroundings we add our friendly staff and a warm Scottish welcome.
